Field trips at Garfield Park Conservatory

Yesterday’s weather was perfect for a jolly day, even better for a Field trip. The wind is calm the sun is out and greatly I am alive to enjoy such a beautiful day. I enjoyed a relaxed morning at the Garfield Park Conservatory, with a group of four year olds. Not all of them were mine, it was a field trip. My group was awesome, and of course, my minion was in my group. I wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s my bestfriend. Out of all my children she gets me the most. She’s like a mini me. Can you guess which one is my Party girl?

I always enjoy going on field trips. Since my oldest was a baby , I have been first in line to volunteer. I’m a big kid at heart. Can you tell? My group was awesome, of course. We took pictures, explored some plants and we did a scavenger hunt. Then, we played for short time in the play area. Right after we enjoyed lunch, and was ready to end our trip. The children were well behaved. I didn’t expect anything less. The trip was fun weather was therapeutic and the day was perfect. Looking forward to next time.
